the classroom and three supervised and independent
mediations. This certification is a very recent
requirement in Oklahoma, which accounts for my seeking
certification in Florida first. |

Certified as a mediator under Florida’s certification
requirements. Training included forty hours of
classroom training followed by two supervised
mediations and two independent mediations. These
mediations were performed in Tampa and Fort Myers
Florida. This certification was not a requirement in
Oklahoma until 1999, which accounts for my seeking
this certification in Florida first. |

Oklahoma and Florida Bar Associations, Mr. Peterson
serves on the Board of Directors of the Master
Gardener’s Foundation and volunteers as a member
of the Tulsa County Oklahoma State University
Extension Service Master Gardener's program. He is a past United Way Panel Member
and current
member of the Board of Directors of the Tulsa
Garden Center as well as a member of the Tulsa County Bar Association
Professional Responsibility Committee on
which he has served for eight years. |
